Preparing an Application
There are many aspects to a development application:
- Owners consent
- Quote for estimated cost
- Statement of Environmental Effects
- Survey plans
- Development Drawings
- Technical reports (e.g. Geotechnical, Arborist where required)
Council provides an interactive enquiry tool (MasterPlan Enquirer) to assist you in preparing your application.
Use the Development Application Tool - MasterPlan Enquirer to obtain:
- A Development Application Form & Checklist
- A tailored set of controls relevant to what you intend to do on a specific property
- Comprehensive "Information to be Submitted" guides
Please note: If you are unable to print the DA form and guides, contact Council's Customer Service staff on 9970 1111 and they will arrange to have these mailed to you.
Varying Development Standards
There is a provision under State Environmental Planning Policy No 1 - Development Standard for applicant to lodge an objection to a development standard seeking a variation to that standard. For more information and guide lines see the NSW Government Planning and Infrastructure site.
