Landfill & Earthworks
Earthworks and or landfill require the consent of Council in accordance with Pittwater Local Environmental Plan 1993.
Pittwater 21 Development Control Plan contains controls for excavation and landfill. Refer to Part B8 - Site Works Management. In areas identified as being subject to geotechnical risk (i.e. landslip), a geotechnical report will also be required.
Landowners/Developers must have regard to these controls and policies when preparing a development application for earthworks/landfill.
