Pittwater Local Environmental Plan 1993
Pittwater Local Environmental Plan 1993 (also referred to as PLEP 1993) is the statutory planning instrument that establishes what forms of development and landuse are permissible and/or prohibited on all land within the Pittwater Local Government Area.
PLEP 1993 is made up of the written instrument, and a series of maps which can be viewed at Council's offices or on the internet. Persons seeking confirmation of the application of the provisions of the PLEP to a particular area of land in Pittwater should apply to Council for a planning certificate under the provisions of section 149 of the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act.
PLEP 1993 was gazetted on 4 February 1994 and is subject to amendment. The current version includes Amendments up to and including 21 April 2011.
