Glossary - Development Application
A development application (DA) is an application for approval to carry out development that does not come within the rules for complying or exempt development. A development application is lodged with council and is assessed against SEPPs, REPs, the LEP, any relevant DCP and the list of considerations in the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act before being determined.
