Water Management in Warriewood Valley

Water Management for construction of the subdivisions by developers and the creekline corridors is managed through the Warriewood Valley Water Management Specification. The Water Management Specification is designed to achieve water savings, water balance within the land, water detention to ensure that any downstream flooding in the creek system is not increased over existing conditions and ensuring high water quality standards are achieved for stormwater discharged from the private properties. Water quality infrastructure provisioning throughout Warriewood Valley includes detention basins, grass swales and water quality ponds.
