Warriewood Valley - Development Controls
Development controls applying to land within the Warriewood Valley Land Release Area are in the Pittwater Local Environmental Plan 1993 and Pittwater 21 Development Control Plan.
The planning strategy for the area is Council's Warriewood Valley Planning Framework 2010, which was adopted 3 May 2010 following a review of the previous planning framework documents - Warriewood Valley Urban Land Release Draft Planning Framework 1997 and the STP Buffer Sector Draft Planning Framework 2001, and the precursor document entitled Ingleside Warriewood Urban Land Release Project Planning Strategy. The Warriewood Valley Planning Framework 2010 map designates the primary land use for the land and should be read in conjunction with the 2010 Planning Framework document. Most of the land in the Warriewood Valley has been rezoned and is being developed for housing.
Other documents have been prepared to assist in guiding development in Warriewood Valley. See the Related Documents section on this page.
Appropriate infrastructure required in Warriewood Valley as a result of the urban development will be provided from developer contributions under Council's Warriewood Valley Section 94 Contributions Plan.
