Warriewood Valley Urban Land Release Project
Non-urban land in Warriewood Valley has been identified as being capable of accommodating appropriate infrastructure for more intensive urban development and on that basis has been included in the State Government's Urban Development Program as an urban land release area.
The planning strategy for the area is Council's Warriewood Valley Urban Land Release Draft Planning Framework. Land within some of the sectors in the valley has been rezoned and is being developed for housing in accordance with the approved sector masterplans. Other sector land is in the process of being rezoned for residential use. Appropriate infrastructure required in the valley as a result of the urban development will be provided from developer contributions under Council's Warriewood Valley Section 94 Contributions Plan.
