Food Legislation

Food Legislation in NSW is governed under the Food Act 2003. This is in place to regulate the sale of food and provide for the application of the Food Standards Code.

The following legislation applies to all NSW food handlers:

  • Food Regulation 2010
  • Food Standards Code
