Leading Community Learning for Sustainable Living in our Urban Coastal Environment

The Coastal Environment Centre (CEC) is a multi-award winning regional community environmental learning centre, and Pittwater Council's environmental flagship.

The CEC is committed to excellence in environmental education, and engaging our community in the transition towards a sustainable future. The Centre has a focus on local biodiversity and ecosystems, coastal management, sustainability and climate change. Our role is to enhance community skills, knowledge and engagement in caring for our urban coastal environment.

Last year, over 19,000 people took part in our programs. The CEC has a well-deserved reputation as a centre of excellence for environmental education,  both nationally and internationally.
