Join our specialist guest presenters for a comprehensive and enjoyable one-day workshop suitable for all levels of enthusiastic birders.

Three engaging field trips to local birding hotspots on the northern beaches will be the highlight of the day. Our adventurers will explore Warriewood Wetlands, Deep Creek Reserve and Jamison Park Reserve on the foreshores of Narrabeen Lagoon. Our guest presenters include Dr Tony Saunders from the Cumberland Bird Observers Club and Marita Macrae, bush regenerator, keen bird watcher and helped start Pittwater Natural Heritage Association (PNHA).

This one-day workshop will encourage beginners and enhance the knowledge of seasoned bird watchers. The day provides an intensive and enjoyable focus on improving birding skills. We will look at practical means of encouraging and supporting bird life on our own suburban doorsteps! More information and schedule available in Birding Essentials Brochure (available shortly).
