Achievements

The Coastal Environment Centre was the first of its kind in Australia. Today, the CEC is Pittwater Council's environmental flagship and is a recognised leader in community environmental education in Australia.

Our programs and services are used by people from across Sydney and beyond.  Visitors have come from as far away as Germany, New Zealand and Thailand to learn about how the CEC operates, in preparation for planning of community environmental education facilities at home.
