Kids on the Coast - School Holiday Program

  • When creating your childs profile you are agreeing that all information provided is true and correct. You will be asked to provide proof of age for sign-on to age restricted classes.
  • Payment can be made with credit card, cash or cheque. Please note that payment by cash or cheque must be made at the Centre at time of booking.
  • Activity numbers are limited and waiting lists may apply. There are no exceptions.
  • Accurate records of your child’s medical history/conditions and supply of all required medication is the parent and/or guardian’s responsibility.
  • Please ensure you provide food for your child or children to eat during the day. (eg. morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea)
  • All children must have a refillable water bottle for all sessions.
  • Please ensure all property is clearly labelled including water bottles.
  • Ensure your child has a hat, raincoat, sunscreen and appropriate footwear (no thongs or crocs).
  • Pittwater Council reserves the right to remove attendees from programs immediately for unruly behaviour, disruptive behaviour or bullying of other attendees. The guardian will be immediately contacted and required to collect the attendee.
  • Please note that our children's activities and excursions are for children aged 5 to 12 years only and are fully supervised by qualified staff. As a result we cannot offer parents or carers places on these activities pr excursions.

Drop-off and Pick-up

  • Drop-off and sign-on procedures for the 10am activity begin at 9:45am. Please do not bring your child to the centre earlier than 9:45am as there is no supervision available. 
  • Drop-off and sign-on procedures for the 1pm activity begin at 12:45pm. Please do not bring your child to the centre earlier than 12:45pm as there is no supervision available.
  • Pick-up and sign-off for the 10am-12pm activity must occur prior to 12:15pm. Please do not collect your child after 12:15pm as there is no supervision available.
  • Pick-up and sign-off for the 1-3pm activity must occur prior to 3:15pm. Please do not collect your child after 3:15pm as there is no supervision available.
  • All children must be picked up before 3:15pm daily.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations up to 48 hours prior to the activity will be issued with a credit which can be used for other Kids on the Coast activities or CEC events. This credit will expire after 12 months.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours will not be issued with a credit unless a medical certificate is provided for the day of the activity.
  • Where a refund is sought for cancellation due to extenuating circumstances other than illness, these will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Pittwater Council reserves the right in the cases of extreme weather to cancel sessions or modify outdoor based programs to ensure safety of attendees. In cases where Pittwater Council cancels sessions customers can choose to have a full refund or re-book on an alternate day.

Refunds

  • Pittwater Council will only provide refunds where the event has been cancelled by Pittwater Council. Refunds will only be made by a direct bank deposit or cheque, cash refunds are not available.

Community Events

  • Some activity numbers are limited and waiting lists may apply.
  • Please ensure you have appropriate clothing and footwear for weather conditions.
  • Pittwater Council reserves the right to remove attendees from programs immediately for unruly behaviour, disruptive behaviour or bullying of other attendees.
  • Pittwater Council reserves the right in the cases of extreme weather to cancel events.

Where an event has a cost:
