Mona Vale General Cemetery is located in a peaceful bushland setting at 107 Mona Vale Road, Mona Vale (with vehicular access via Fazzolari Avenue). It is managed by Pittwater Council on behalf of the State Government.
The Cemetery contains 6,400 grave sites and other options for cremated remains, including memorial gardens and wall niches.
Sites for cremated remains are non-denominational. The grave sites are a mix of faiths, including Anglican, Catholic, Uniting, Bahai and Latter Day Saints as well as non-denominational.
The Cemetery is open every day of the year during daylight hours. Staff are at the Cemetery between 8am and 4pm on Monday to Thursday and alternate Fridays. Interments and burials generally take place between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday. In special circumstances burials and interments may be arranged on Saturday with prior approval, please contact Cemetery staff.
