- Complete set of Census 2006 Results now available - Pittwater Community Profile
"profile.id" and "atlas.id" are products that provide a 'snapshot' of Pittwater from the 2006 Census. There are interactive features that allow users to compare Pittwater with other LGA's in the region as well as comparisons with other census years.

The Pittwater Council Community Profile is designed to inform community groups, Council, investors, business, students and the general public. To achieve this, the Profile is formatted to present the data in simple, clear tables and charts with concise factual commentary.
The Community Profile includes results from the 2006, 2001, 1996 and 1991 Censuses of Population and Housing.
Pittwater's Current population as of 30 June 2007 (estimated between census periods) is 56,920.

Based on data from the 2001 Census of Population and Housing (Australian Bureau of Statistics), each map is prepared using Census Collector Districts providing the finest level of detail to help identify spatial patterns and trends in the Council.
The Community Atlas includes key socio-demographic characteristics for the Pittwater Council presented as interactive maps.
