Northern Beaches Council Community Grants under the Stronger Communities Fund

The Stronger Communities Fund has been established by the NSW Government as part of the NSW Government’s Fit for the Future reform program to provide councils with funding to kick start the delivery of projects that improve community infrastructure and services.

The fund includes a Community Grant Program allocating $1 million in grants of up to $50,000 to incorporated not-for-profit community groups, for projects that build more vibrant, sustainable and inclusive local communities.

Small Grants Program

Is your community group working on social or cultural projects that will enrich Northern Beaches' cultural or community life? The 2016/2017 Northern Beaches Small Grants Program funds small grants towards projects that have social or cultural outcomes.

The Program funds up to $2,000 from a total of $50,000 for community or cultural projects.

ClubGRANTS (formerly CDSE) is a statewide intiative where RSL Clubs provide financial support for projects and services that contribute to the wellbeing of the community.

Applications for funding under 2016 Cat 1 ClubGRANTS opened on 1 January 2016 and closed on April 30th at 5pm.

Local Heritage Fund

If you undertake works to conserve the heritage values of your property, you may be eligible to apply for a grant to assist with costs.

Northern Beaches Council has established a fund to offer small grants to property owners for works which help conserve the heritage values of buildings and other items of heritage significance listed in Schedule 5 of the Manly, Pittwater or Warringah Local Environmental Plans.

Eligible projects may be offered grants between $200 – $3,000, not exceeding 50% of the total cost of the project.

The pool of funding for the 2016-2017 financial year is $20,000 across the Northern Beaches Local Government Area.
