Volunteering with Northern Beaches Council (North)

If you would like to be a volunteer - please contact the area in which you are interested.

Our Natural Environment & Education Unit provides a range of facilities, programs and information to develop community awareness and encourage participation. Feel a sense of satisfaction in seeing the gradual improvement of our environment amd play an active role in local environmental projects that aim to deliver cleaner beaches, healthier waterways, lower air pollution and which support our local native wildlife.

Many of the services delivered by the Pittwater Library Service are delivered with the assistance of our skilled and enthusiastic volunteers. Projects with which volunteers assist include shelf tidying; repairing books; contributing to the local studies collection with newspaper indexing, interviews and archival assistance; and delivering books to housebound members.

Volunteering in the Community

Many organisations require volunteers to work within the Community Services areas.
