The 2015 Australia Day celebrations will be at Bert Payne Reserve Newport from 7:30am with a BBQ breakfast, kids activities, face-painting, live music from the Sun Up Bush Band and vocalist Russell Pearce.

Hear our Australia Day Ambassador from our Australia Day Ambassador, Tracy Bevan (Ambassador and Director of The McGrath Foundation). The Pittwater Australia Day Awardees - Pittwater Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year (under 26 years) and Sportsperson of the Year, will also be acknowledged.

Join us in welcoming our new citizens at the Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony, starting at 8am. 

All funds raised on the day benefit local service organisations such as the Pittwater Rotary, Lions, Zonta, Rural Fire Service and the SES.

Australia Day celebrations on Pittwater

Newport's Royal Motor Yacht Club hosts the annual Australia Day Parade of Sail.

Local boatowners assembled at Careel Bay and sailed across Pittwater in a colourful flotilla, arriving in the afternoon at the Royal Motor Yacht Club.
