Street Tree and Pavement Replacement, Old Barrenjoey Road, Avalon
Council has replaced street trees in the centre of Old Barrenjoey Road. The existing fig trees have struggled to develop in this location mainly due to vehicle damage and water table levels. The works will consist of replanting with water tolerant Melaleuca trees, new bollards to provide protection from vehicles and repaving areas where the pavement has sunk. This work was completed in June 2011
