Angophora Reserve, Avalon

Aims

The project has 

  • Restored the existing walking track to provide safe, trip free access through the reserve.
  • Provided safe boardwalks over creeks within the reserve
  • Removed threatening trees and branches from around the tracks for safety and installed six nesting boxes to replace any habitat lost.

Funds  

Total cost of project is $30,000 funded by the Council’s Environmental Infrastructure Levy.
(Track upgrade - $25,000, Tree works - $5000)
