Narrabeen Creek Rehabilitation

Commencement of works - Narrabeen Creek Rehabilitation
Ponderosa Parade to Bert Close, Warriewood.

As part of ongoing works outlined in Council's Section 94 Plan for Warriewood Valley, the rehabilitation of Narrabeen Creek from the Ponderosa Parade culvert to Bert Close will be completed by the end of May 2012.  Works will involve initial cleaning of noxious vegetation, extensive excavation of the creekline, installation of rock amouring associated with the creek, provision of a cycleway from Ponderosa Parade to Bert Close and total replanting/regeneration of the entire creekline area.

Council will endeavour to minimise disruption and impact on local residents and businesses.  Work will be limited to 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

For any enquiries or issues with the proposed works, please contact Council's Landscape Architect, Mr Mark Eriksson on 9970 1356.
