Expo Connects Local Business

Pittwater and Warringah Councils are encouraging local businesses to be part of the Northern Beaches Business Expo on Wednesday 22 August.

The expo, to be held at the Harbord Diggers, gives local businesses the chance to market their products and services as well as grow their networks.

Organisers of the event highlight the fact that the majority of people like to do business with someone they know and therefore the local nature of the expo is extremely beneficial.

The exhibition which is free to attend includes keynote speaker Paul McCarthy, who will share ‘the secret to marketing your business in the new economy.’

Visitors to the expo will be able to:

  • Meet leaders in the field of technology and communication
  • Learn about improving customer interaction and relationships
  • Learn about higher financial rewards and overall savings
  • Learn how to increase employee productivity
  • Learn how to improve their overall bottom line.

Following the expo participants can mingle with other businesspeople at a free cocktail function.

Pittwater Mayor Harvey Rose said the expo would offer local businesses great networking opportunities. “It’s an ideal event for business-owners to network and gain insights about new business developments.”

Warringah Mayor Michael Regan highlighted the business growth opportunities the event would provide, "This is a terrific opportunity for local businesses to network and market their products and services at a regional level."

The expo runs from 2pm to 6pm, with the cocktail function starting at 6pm.

The organisers are currently offering exhibitors an early bird discount of $349 (normally $399).
