Old Church Point Wharf Closed
The old fixed timber public wharf at Church Point has been closed by Pittwater Council until further notice due to safety concerns.
Reserves & Recreation Manager Les Munn said the old wharf was no longer in a condition suitable for use.
“In view of the safety concerns, we have now closed off access and put up signs warning people not to use the old wharf jetty or to tie up there.”
"This closure does not affect the operation of the main pontoon wharf at Thomas Stephens Reserve which is used by the ferry and commuters", he said.
