Viewing of Documents
There is no charge for the viewing of documents considered to be open Access.
Copying of Documents
Charges for photocopying are charged as per the schedule of 2011/12 Fees & Charges

Application & Processing Fees
Charges for a Formal Access Application are set by the GIPA Act and are as follows:
- Application fee - $30.00
- Includes first hour of processing time
- Note: if an applicant is entitled to a discount, the fee covers the first two hours of processing time - Processing Fees
- in excess of the first hour - rate per hour - $30.00
- Note: Any charge must be for time necessarily spent in dealing efficiently with the application.
- There is NO charge where an application is not decided in time. - Discount
- Applicants are entitled to a 50% reduction of processing charges on financial hardship groups or if the information requested is of special benefit to the public generally. - Advance Deposit
- Councils may request an advance deposit, advising of the estimated processing charge and giving at least four weeks for payment to be made (Up to 50% of the total processing time) - Internal Review Fee - $40.00
