My Environment

The local community has a high level of concern for protection of our environmental values with many hundreds of people actively involved as environmental volunteers in partnership with the Natural Environment and Education Unit and the Coastal Environment Centre. Discover more about our environment and the actions being undertaken by Council and the community to ensure that the natural heritage is maintained for present and future generations. The Aboriginal Heritage Office assists to protect Aboriginal Heritage in the area.
