Sample Wetland Site Plan

This site plan can be included in the complete project site plan.

Wetland Site Plan must show:

  • Wetland - open water and boundary
  • On-site waste-water or storm-water disposal zones, if present
  • Existing/proposed building on area
  • Contours (minimum 10m intervals)
  • Any bushfire Asset Protection Zones within 30 metres of the wetland
  • Any landscaping within 30 metres of wetland
  • Describe impacts of the proposed development, including the following:
    - Type of development - discuss how materials are to be delivered to the site if delivery is by water
    - Location of development in relation to wetland
    - Construction conditions to conserve wetland, including sediment control 
    - Post-construction conditions to conserve wetland
    - Location of wetland protection fencing

Wetlands may have no free/open water. The wetland edge is identified by plants, soil characteristics and hydrology. If uncertain, contact a consultant with experience in wetlands.
