Description

Free-floating aquatic plant growing in shallow to deep water or mud. It has bright, shiny, pale-green leaves which grow on swollen bladder like stems.

Attractive dark blue to purple flowers with yellow centre, flowering in summer. Seed may lay dormant for many years, in capsules at base of flower. Also reproduces vegetatively.
