Can I use Pindone poison on my property?

A property owner can only use Pindone poison on their property if it is greater then 1000m². Pindone baits can be obtained from Rural Stock agents, pesticide suppliers, or some plant nurseries.

If you are using bait on your property you must follow the instructions given on the label and the material safety data sheet (MSDS). Particularly note that immediate neighbours must be notified and signs erected at property entrances. All due care must be taken to prevent accidental poisoning of persons, domestic pets or native wildlife that may enter the property.

Any uneaten bait must be buried at a depth greater than 0.5m.

See product label for full instructions or view an example pindone oat bait label or example pindone oat bait MSDS.
