Collecting Seeds from Native Plants
The following information is for those involved in seed collection for the propagation of local native plants (e.g bush regeneration contractors and nurseries).
- Seed Collection Application Form
An application form must be lodged with Council prior to the collection of seed and other vegetative matter from Bushland Reserves for the purposes of reproduction. It also covers the collection of plant material for educational and scientific purposes. - Seed Collection Record Sheet
A Seed Collection Record Sheet will need to be completed for all approved seed/ plant collection activities in Bushland Reserves and be forwarded to Pittwater Council within 2 weeks of the collection date.
