McCarr's Creek

McCarrs Creek is located within Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. The upper section of the northern site is shallow then drops to a ten metre wide pool. The main site starts as a six metre wide pool then becomes very narrow, ending at a lower pool. McCarrs Creek is surrounded by limited development, consisting of a small number of semi-rural properties. McCarrs Creek Road, which runs along much of the northern section of McCarrs Creek, is sealed although the road shoulders are unsealed, and it is frequently used as a tourist drive. Despite the road and the limited development, this sub-catchment remains relatively undisturbed.
