Fun Stuff

Mona Vale Library offers activities and events for people of all ages! These are the current events.

Lego at the Library

Mona Vale Library runs a Lego Club for children on the first Sunday of each month from 2pm to 4pm.

The Club is supervised by an Adult Fan of Lego. Children under the age of 7 are welcome if accompanied by an adult, and is open to children up to the age of 12. Models made during the Club meetings are displayed in the library until the following month, and each Club meeting starts with a show-and-tell session in which children are invited to talk about models they have made at home and brought in. The supervisor also updates the children on news from the world of Lego. Designed to tap children's creativity, these are 'free-for-all' sessions that are fun, which encourage cooperation and team work, and which bring out the Lego fan in all of us! The Library also has a number of books on Lego to borrow.
