Reading Groups

The library is now in its 5th year of running Reading Groups.  The groups allow people to read around the work of an individual author or a theme and share their reading experience with each other.

Mona Vale Library runs three reading groups which meet in the library for one session per month at the following times:

  • 1st Monday of the month
    10am - 12pm
  • 2nd Tuesday of the month
    2.30pm - 4.30pm
  • last Wednesday of the month
    6.30pm - 8.30pm

Venue: Pelican Room (in front of the service desk).

Reading Suggestions

We are often asked to suggest book titles or themes for individual readers and groups and to indicate titles that we may have multiple copies of.

We have listed some suggestions from previous sessions that have worked well and provoked interesting discussions.  The titles include both fiction and non-fiction.

If you would like to look at more resources to help you find a book to read please go to our Book News & Reviews page.

Express your interest

If you are interested in joining one of the groups, please contact Jane Smith on 9970 1608.
