Reserve a book

You can reserve a book that is on the shelf or currently out on loan.  This is useful if you would like an item which is in high demand. A reservation is fee of $1.50 is charged for each item reserved. You must be a member of Mona Vale library to make a reservation.  When your item is available you will be contacted by a library staff member.

How do I reserve a book?

1. Click onto online catalogue search
2. Choose what you would like to search for eg: title, author, subject, etc. and click on it
3. Type in your query
4. Click onto search
5. Select the entry you would like to see by clicking on the blue underlined title
6. To reserve an item click on reserve item on the right
7. Type in your borrower number on your library card
8. Type in your PIN number
9. Click onto reserve item
