Boat Tie-up on Wharves

Church Point Commuter Wharf

The Church Point Commuter Wharf is available for use by Scotland Island and Western Foreshores Residents. Due to  high demand for positions at the wharf, as of March 1 2016, all applicants must provide proof of offshore residency to be eligible for a permit. A  Boat Tie-Up Application Form is to be completed for the Church Point Commuter Wharf and should be lodged at Council's Customer Service Centre in Mona Vale and Avalon,  with the required documentation. All new permits are allocated as per the date they are received at Council When a position is allocated, you will be required to pay a yearly fee  for usage and sign a Temporary Licence Agreement for a period of 12 months or part thereof. The Licence Agreement is signed and a copy returned for your records. Please allow up to 10 working days for processing.

The annual renewal for Licence Agreements is March 1. Permits may be relinquished at anytime of the year and a pro rata refund will be issued. Currently we have a waitlist for permits at Church Point. If you no longer require your permit, please contact Council to arrange for a refund. Your permit can then be reissued to the next person on the waitlist.  Click on the  terms & conditions. for further information regarding Licence Agreements.

To avoid receiving a penalty notice, the current sticker must be displayed on the boat at all times when mooring at the Church Point Commuter Wharf. If your permit sticker is lost, contact Council immediately to organise a replacement.
