Footpath Use in Commercial Centres

Permits are required for use of the footpath area within the commercial centres in Pittwater.

To obtain a permit an application form for the specific use of the footpath area must be completed and lodged with Council.  Upon approval a permit will be issued for the usage outlining the terms and conditions, together with an invoice for footpath use fees & charges.

Usage Types:

Footpath Seating - permission is required for restaurant usage of the footpath

 

Footpath Merchandise - permission is required for merchandise on footpaths

 

Commercial Street Stalls - permission is required to have a street stall

 

Charity & Not for Profit Street Stall - permission is required for charity & not for profit organisations to use the footpath

 

Portable Signage & Embellishments - permission is required to advertise with signage on the footpath

 

Busking - permission is limited to specific times and areas
