Pay and Display Parking

Pittwater has 16 Pay & Display areas where pay parking fees apply and fees and parking times do vary. Please refer to the map and the information below for more details. 

Pay and Display areas located at ocean beach car parks. These are represented on the map by a circle

- Fees apply 6.00am to 9.00pm every day.

- A minimum charge of $ 4.00 applies for the first hour & $ 2.40 for every hour thereafter or part thereof.

Pay and Display areas offering long term parking are represented on the map by a square are located at

  • Church Point Reserve, Church Point
  • Rowland Reserve, Bayview
  • Pittwater Park and Public Wharf, Palm Beach

- Fees apply at all times and parking for up to 7 days is available. 

- A  minimum charge of $8.00 for the first four hours and $1.40 for every hour thereafter/ Maximum day rate (first day only) = $36.00 and $33.60 for every 24 hours thereafter.

Long Term Parking Rates (cedit card only)

Please note that multiple day rates for long term parking must be paid by credit card.

  • 4 days $ 136.80
  • 5 days $ 170.40
  • 6 days $ 204.00
  • 7 days  $ 237.60

How to Pay for Parking

All parking machines accept payment by coin (10c, 20c, 50c $1 & $ 2) & Credit card (Visa, MasterCard & American Express).

  • Payment for parking up to 24 hours can be paid by coin or credit card.
  • Longer term parking will require payment by credit card

Paying with coins

  1. Check parking rates and user instructions
  2. Place coins into the machine and refer to the display screen as you do so
  3. Press the ticket button and collect from the ticket tray
  4. Place the ticket on your vehicle dashboard so that details of the ticket are visible

Paying by credit card

  1. Check parking rates and user instructions
  2. Press the + button to activate the credit card payment mode. The minimum parking rate will display
  3. Press the + button until you reach the required amount. (Press the - button to decrease amount if required)
  4. Insert and then remove credit card
  5. Place the ticket on your vehicle dashboard so that details of the ticket are visible
