Road Safety

Road Safety is an important community focused initiative that aims to reduce the number and severity of crashes on Pittwater's roads by providing targeted information to the whole community.

In 2007, there were 245 crashes in Pittwater resulting in 90 people being injured on our roads.

Pittwater Local Government Road Safety Program

Road safety has an impact on the whole community. For this reason, Pittwater Council, in partnership with the Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA), provides road safety education and preventative measures to its community through the Pittwater Local Government Road Safety Program.
