Road Safety in Pittwater

Road Safety is an important community focused initiative that aims to reduce the number and severity of crashes on Pittwater's roads by providing targeted information to the whole community.

In 2009, there were 246 crashes in Pittwater which resulted in three  deaths and a further 106 people being injured.

As part of our commitment to road safety, Pittwater Council have developed a five year Road Safety Strategic Plan.  The Plan will be actioned in Pittwater during 2009 2013.
