Traffic

Council Traffic Management Function

Traffic management on local roads is performed by Council under delegation from the Roads & Traffic Authority.

Traffic Committee

The Pittwater Local Traffic Committee meets on a regular basis to undertake a technical review of traffic related projects proposed by Council.

Road Closure

Council allows temporary - full or partial - road closure for community events or approved construction.

Traffic Speed Management

The Roads & Traffic Authority is the responsible authority for managing speed limits throughout Pittwater.

Traffic Restrictions

Temporary road closures may be put in place from time to time.  A 3 tonne load limit applies to selected streets throughout Pittwater.
