Kimbriki Resource Recovery Centre

Alternative Waste Technology at Kimbriki  Resource Recovery Centre.

The Kimbriki Resource Recovery Facility at Ingleside is consulting the community about the introduction of alternative waste technology (AWT) at the Centre.

AWT is the process by which the Centre will be able to recover valuable metals, plastics and paper from kerbside recyclables and make compost products, reducing the amount of waste going to landfill. An Environmental Assessment is currently being prepared by Kimbriki for the AWT, to be lodged with the NSW Department of Planning in late 2010.

A community information day at Kimbriki will be held in September and background information on the project can be found by clicking on the link below.
