To order your 240 litre vegetation wheelie bin, please call Council on 02 9970 1111. Vegetation bins are $97.88 (inclusive of GST).
Mainland
- Vegetation Collections
- 8 Collections per year
- Place out a maximum of 2 cubic metres per household per collection
- Leaf litter, prunings and cuttings placed in hard sided containers or a 240 litre Vegetation wheelie bin
- Branch length to be no longer than 1.2m and 75mm thick - tied into manageable bundles with twine.

Place materials on the kerbside no later than 6am on the scheduled collection date
Scotland Island
- 2 collections a year
- Place out a maximum of 2 cubic metres per collection per household
- Leaf litter, prunings and cuttings placed in hard sided containers
- Branch length to be no longer than 1.2m and 75mm thick - tied into managable bundles with twine.
- Place materials on the roadside no later than 6am prior to collection date
Unacceptable materials
- Plastic, nylon or hessian bags
- Cardboard, foam or polystyrene boxes
- Soil
- Untied bundles
