This Centre is located in the Avalon Shopping Centre and is next to Dunbar Park. It has a sports hall, meeting room and four activity rooms available for hire, one including sinks for art classes. The Centre is suitable for functions, classes, meetings, workshops and exhibitions. The centre also houses the Avalon Community Library, the Avalon Early Childhood Centre and a Pittwater Council Customer Service Centre.

Accessible parking is available outside the front of the Centre and there is a lift facility to the first floor. Limited storage facilities are available. All activity rooms/meeting room have a north-easterly aspect. There is access to a digital projector, large freestanding projection screen, art hanging system, whiteboards, tables and chairs, TV/Video, kitchen/kitchenette facilities.

• Avalon Annexe (former Scout Hall)  is now available for hire as part of Avalon Recreation Centre. This Hall is particularly suitable for children's birthday parties and martial arts classes. Please contact the booking officer on the above number or fill in the on-line enquiry form below.  Currently undergoing renovations.  Available for hire from 2012.
