The Newport Community Centre consists of one main hall, activity room/s, two tennis courts and an enclosed playground. It also houses the Northern Beaches Family Day Care offices.
If you are seeking a venue to hire for a functions, playgroups, children's birthday parties, classes, art and crafts, meetings, workshops or an exhibition, please call us or fill out the on-line form below.
- Hire fees for all Centres are available on the 2012 Community Centre Fees & Charges document.
- Please note that there is booking notice of a minimum of 5 working days.

Tennis Court Online Bookings
- Book our brand new Tennis Courts on-line to make a casual or a permanent booking. It is easy to use and once completed, will give you a PIN number to use to access the Tennis Courts at your alloted time.
- Regular rate is $10.90 per hour or $14.20 for a casual booking. Please note that the courts are closed at sunset.
- Special school holiday special rate is $8.70 per hour for children under 18 and their family.
Tennis Coaching
- Adult and Junior Coaching, special "fit and giggle ladies groups", "munchkins program" for 3-6 year olds, all levels, beginners to advanced with school holiday tennis camps. Phone Robert Albers on 9997 6823 or 0422 550 652.

Children's Playground
An enclosed junior playground has been built to cater for the 0-5 year age group. The playground is fully shaded with shade sails installed and has a seating wall for parents situated around the playground. The playground has a junior combination set installed together with a sandpit and rubber softfall.
Sculpture Garden

The park includes a sculpture garden depicting images of local native species carved by Ishi Buki Sculptures. The garden includes areas for sculpture and art exhibitions and a central boardwalk with lighting for viewing.

The park acts as a lit access path between The Boulevarde and Palm Road. It includes the playground, sculpture garden, areas for general seating, a picnic shelter and open lawn areas for passive and active recreation.
