Reserve Access and Permits
Council requires a Vehicle Access Application form to be completed if you are needing vehicle access over a Council reserve or contractors wishing to carryout works to adjoining properties.
For all applications for vehicle access or for contractors wishing to carry out works on a public reserve a minimum of 5 working days is required.
There is a fee to gain vehicle access through a reserve and a bond. This will vary depending upon the size of the vehicle, the number of trips that will be required to be made and the duration. These fees will be set at the time of approval.
If you are a contractor, wishing to carry out works on a public reserve, before commencing you are required to complete and submit a Works on Reserve application form. Upon approval payment is required. An example of works where a permit is required are:
- Excavating the reserve to connect stormwater/services
- storing materials such as mulch,soil etc.
